Patricio and Diego Jourdain come from a racing family : The Jourdain family.
A family that immigrated from Belgium to Mexico City after the World War II to create the biggest name in racing in the country for a good number of decades.Racing, promoting races, creating new race series, owing an Indy Car team and having a race gear brand all created the big name in motorsports for the Jourdain’s.

Patricio and Diego Jourdain come from a racing family. A family that immigrated from Belgium to Mexico City after the World War II to create the biggest name in racing in the country for a good number of decades.
Racing, promoting races, creating new race series, owing an Indy Car team and having a race gear brand all created the big name in motorsports for the Jourdain’s.
It all started with Michel Sr. and Bernard, racing in Mexico and both being so successful which gave them an opportunity in the international motorsports seen, racing from Indy Cars to Le-Mans and everything in between. Michel was a successful driver but he is mostly known for promoting the biggest race series Mexico has ever seen. Bernard was the rookie of the year at the Indy 500 in ’89 and created his own team Andale Racing. He also founded the race gear brand Monarch in the 90’s. Diego and Patricio’s dad Patrick was a successful rally co-driver for the Ford factory team and won 2 national championships in ’82 and ’83.
The Race Tailor
The second generation of racers started with Michel Jr. who was a successful Champ Car, Nascar and WTCC driver in the 90’s and 2000’s. Patricio then follow his path competing in the Champ Car ladder system with Barber Dodge and then turned his head to stock cars and touring cars to continue his racing career. He was a touring car national champion in 2004 and rookie of the year in 2005 in the Nascar Toyota Series in Mexico. He then raced the US Grand Am series in 2013 and then went back to Nascar Mexico to continue his path.
Patricio and Diego have been distributing race gear brands for the past 10 years focusing more than anything on custom gear, working with several well known companies around
the world.
In 2022 they decided to create TRT - The Race Tailor, a brand that focuses most of its e orts in 100% homologated and custom gear with high quality products, competitive prices, unique designs and superb customer service. It all starts with the customer’s needs and the idea of what they want, to then create a design for them and deliver a nal product.
JRC is also a proud distributor in the US and Mexico for the well known English brand Torq Racewear and Spanish brand Marina Racewear. Made in Italy and in Spain with the highest quality and attention to details, are one of the best up and coming race gear brands in motorsports.
Both Patricio and Diego oversee the day to day operations and make sure their customers are satisfied with the entire process and the final product. Looking forward to working with you and have you safe while looking good at the track.
